It really depends on the book. I like to read current bestsellers, romance, etc...alot of which come in mass market paperback. I always look at both the Sony website and Booksonboard, and sometimes BooksonBoard is cheaper. I also like Booksonboard because it has a rewards program. I just took advantage of an offer where if I bought a $30 gift certificate, I would get $30 rewards back. I could DEFINITELY see spending $60 at that site over time. Most of the books I plan to buy within the next couple days will take a good chunk of that amount. I found alot of the new books that come in Hardcover are cheaper at Sony as I was able to get them for $11.99.

For DRMed eBooks from Fictionwise, I just purchase in Mobipocket or MS Reader, strip the DRM and use Calibre to convert to ePub or LRF.

FictionWise has said that they intend to add ePub as an alternative (replacement?) for the eReader format, and in particular eReader software will in the future support ePub. We don't know exactly what DRM FictionWise will use for ePub, but it won't be Adobe ADEPT because FictionWise will want to own the DRM. Today, the only DRM available for ePub is from Adobe.
