If you know there is a grant available I think the above stated theory would kick in again and you wouldn't have time to apply for it

Thanks for the offer. Having grown up in Chicago and later lived in South Florida for 8 years, I am pretty much over the whole weather thing. If it's nice outside, Yeah. If it's not, that's okay, too. I take it as it comes.

My friend's 15 year old son is going to Edinburgh for a theatre festival for high school students in August. I can't remember the name of the festival but will ask her and let you know. He will be there for 2 weeks. Since I tutor him, mostly with his writing assignments (he likes it because I practially rewrite the paper for him

), and don't charge him, I told him he has to take me along!

He told me that last thing he needs is another mother hanging around when he's leaving his real mom at home.

He really is a great kid and I am totally envious!

With all the "Economic Stimulus" money our congress is throwing around, I am sure you could get a grant VERY easily.

If it you can also make it sound like it is a cure for Global Warming, you'll definitely get unlimited funding.

Something like a huge pile of money that is soooooo big it absorbs all the excess greenhouse gases. Then when it starts to get a bit cooler we just spend a bit of it.

Yes, the group will probably be listed in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival which is a large theatre extravaganza -- from small high school groups to well known international theatre companies. Edinburgh has loads going on in August. There is also a comedy festival and a film festival as well as a book festival.

My favourite is the Edinburgh Book Festival -- the programme comes out tomorrow -- I can't wait!! MR had a meetup last year at the book festival, so I'm hoping there will be some interested folks this year as well.
