I awoke, though it was hardly an awakening. It was more like arising from the grave. I looked around but couldn't tell that all that much had changed. But it certainly had changed. And I hadn't done anything in particular to bring it about either - it just sort of happened. I had a decent weekend lazing and having a little fun. Then I went to sleep Sunday night. The next thing I knew it was Monday. That was apparently all it took. Death by Monday. Go figure.
