I ALWAYS look like that cat! Sitting properly is not a part of my genes, and I abhor chairs of all kinds... (did I mention something about being pertinent?)

AM should be fine with a couple of advils and water!

Right now it's the "What did I do wrong? Is there really something wrong with me? Do I deserve anything nice?" paranoia thingy emerging. I've been told extremely mean and gratuitous things today.(and I still have a tiny bit of rationality left to see I'm not rational)

I said I wouldn't rant anymore, did I? Gotta watch those hand, they write without me noticing a thing...

I don't think so. Sometimes, for what ever reason, jobs don't work out. People can be bitches. (excuse my language)

The "What did I do wrong" is the only part that you must remember. It is that one that after analysis will tell you what rules, ways of thinking, traditions you have infringed on. Consider that the lesson and remember it for the next job. It will teach you how to look for those traps that got you this time.

I can give you a whole list of things that are wrong with you!
But that is not the point. Those things make up what you are and most are the basis for what is good about you. A good person has no place in today's society. You have to build a better shield with no handles outside.
Just keep to yourself in those places.

Remember that I love you and that I only wish you the best. You have so much to worry about just with survival, focus on that. Don't try to evade the purpose.

I suggest that you actively look for work before your 3 weeks expire. We'll be moving you at the end of this month, afterwards you'll be so busy it will be harder still. Think positive, focus. I know it's boring but focus!

DGMa...I'm not blameless. Everything would've been fine if I had just shut up and did my little things without paying attention to what was going on, but I have this compulsion to fix what's wrong around me...can't help it!

It wasn't really about the language issue (although I was blamed today for saying "really", en English, to myself while checking my schedule - one word!!!) but mostly about a general atmosphere of dissatisfaction all over the bakery.
No one was taking the lead while the boss was out on vacation, everyone "throwing the monkey" (poor Adrian) at the following employee, so, in a few particular situations, I took responsibility and acted so we could keep being efficient. Older employees took it personally, started backstabbing me, and it all went down from there. The only thing I knew, until this afternoon when I confronted my boss, is that the atmosphere was harrowing (word of the week), and I couldn't deal with that anymore. Everyone was complaining about everyone, it was crazy. Every day of last week I got back home crying - hence my presence on MR, needed the positiveness.
Quitting today was the only option for my sanity, and confronting my boss (she's more than mean) learned me a few other things that are pushing me even faster on the way out.
I'll get back on my feet pretty quickly, I'm not even worried. I even might work at the SAQ (société des Alcools du Québec, where they sell wine and stronger liquors and where the employees are extra-well paid AND have a 50% discount on the booze!).
So I won't talk about it anymore, won't rant about it, work my three remaining weeks with clenched teeth and get it over with.

Thanks again, I really needed the hugs and support, and don't worry, everything will be perfectly fine. Sorry for that.

Someday you will get a job where that is valued, rather than punished. I still remember my first job like that. I stayed there for 11 years before deciding to return to academia.

Co-workers can make or break a job. I no longer stay in jobs where the co-workers are miserable. I know I can do better than that, and it's not my job to fix dysfunctional people. (Pshrynk, unfortunately, does not have that excuse....) So during your next job interview, look around at the people working there, and see if you can detect a lot of tension and stress. If you sense that, don't take the job, unless you're getting desperate. Just go to the next place on your list.
