None for me. It's not because I don't like them though.

If I could have a pet without having to leave it all day on it's own it would be a dog.

Two large dogs one tiny cat - who is the boss. As someone else here said - Cat's are armed and dangerous.

Cat and one dog are rescue.

Dogs have owners - Cat's have staff!

I know! To be caged up with an array of dining room chairs - the thought of such an outrage makes me woozie.

You should teach your cats how to hunt! That should save you a lot of cat food

The cats do hunt - well 3 of them who are allowed outdoors - this time of year, though, becomes a nightmare as young birds try their first flight....

I'm quite sure GeoffC's cats don't eat cat food - or is there cat food flavoured "dark chocolate"?

There's doggie chocolate _ "Good Boy" .... Otherwise chocolate is too good (and dangerous) for our 4-legged f(r)iends....

My cats generally don't eat the young birds, though the red one loves a pigeon egg so once in a while...

My first rescue, Newton (named after Sir Issac Newton -- the inventor of the cat flap), got beaten up by a bully cat next door. It got so bad that Newt started not wanting to go outdoors at all.

So, I got myself one kick-ass super soaker and started going out with him. When ever that cat showed up .... BLAM .... right in the face. The neighbor complained that I was tormenting her cat, until I showed her the photos of the last time I had to pull her cat off my cat, and her cat ripped the palm of my right hand open right to the bone (22 stitches in the ER). I explained to her, very rationally I thought, that her cat could either (1) be kept indoors, (2) be made very wet when he attacked my cat, or (3) I would give him a set of wounds to match the set he gave me. She opted for door number 2.

After a while, Newt would go to the door and ask to be let out, but he would wait until I was sufficiently armed and willing to go out with him before he would stick a toe out of the door.
