I bought LoTR trilogy yesterday evening, and the problems are still there (especially the missing text after the accented letters is very annoying). I will ask for a refund from Amazon and wait for the fixed release.

Is fictionwise like Amazon - you have to return the defective copy for a refund & get it off of your account - then buy the new fixed version?
