I actually haven't read Cryptonomicon. Please don't eat me.

Instead of lying, I just use my excuse: I'm new to sci-fi (less than a year) and I first had to work my way through some Asimov, Heinlein and Herbert. Oh yes, of course I'll read Cryptonomicon next. *nods vigorously*

nothing but the bible, the Amish that I know are farmers though, that could mean something. Just They don't read anything but the Bible, doesn't mean the Amish as a whole.

I actually HAVE read The Cryptonomicon, but none of Stephenson's books are as good as Snow Crash.

Each successive book seems to get less and less enjoyable. At least to me. YMMV.
