I bought a Sony. Then I repented, and bought a Kindle, and lent the Sony to my son. Now he is going to buy a Kindle. So I have to adopt some other strategy to get rid of the Sony. Or Amazon could pay me to lend it to someone else... But I do a lot of my reading on my iPhone, mainly because I always have it with me. Got a lot of reading done at the Cubs/Dodgers game tonight... |

Well, actually, I was trying not to watch the Cubs lose. After the abysmal 5 run first inning the Dodgers put up, I adopted a policy of reading from my iPhone while the Dodgers were at bat. But this didn't work, as the Dodgers kept scoring. I then left the game after five innings, in the hope that the Cubs would rally, making me regret leaving too soon. This has worked in the past, but not tonight. As a last resort, I upped the ante by watching the rest of the game on television, so I could regret leaving even more. But this also failed to produce a Cubs rally. I should have just continued reading. The book was a damned sight better than the game. |
