. I've really been wanting to read the Betty Hechtman mysteries featuring crochet, (since I crochet, not knit, but love the knitting mysteries) but could only find the second two in the series. Those are at BoB and are available in .lit (my preferred format to purchase), but they don't have the first book in the series. I finally found the first one at Fictionwise, but it's ONLY available in secure Mobipocket. That'd be great, except my EZ Reader doesn't support DRM'd Mobi. And since I now find it painful to read on anything except my EZ Reader - you see my dilemma. But I did it!!! Thanks to several forum posters here, including Wallcraft, Tompe, and Igorsk!

I've had a lot of dreams like that. Usually I don't have known actors, because I hardly know any. Lately a lot of my dreams have been featuring trains. I'm not sure why.

Usually I know when I'm dreaming (and often I ditch the ongoing plot of the dream to do some flying as soon as I notice I'm in the "other world" where I can do that), but sometimes I have dreams that feel "real" enough that when I wake up I have a hard time remembering who I am. I've had rather more than usual of those lately, which has made my mornings a mite confusing.

Assuming this is really who I am....

good on you for doing that ! stick to it. i quit rather easily the first time but then idiotically cracked and have been "stopping" every week or so since then... until recently i started again (too much stress.

Quitting is an excellent idea. I started quitting just 8 months after I started smoking regularly but it took another 5 1/2 years to finally kick it. There were many bumps along the way before I finally said no more. That was over 25 years ago. For those that have smoked for years, I can only imagine how much more difficult it must be. But if you've decided to eliminate it from your life, you have to follow through. Good on ya!

I read Allan Carr's - The Easy Way to Stop Smoking, and once I'd finished it, I knew I'd never smoke another cigarette in my life. So far, it's been quite easy. I'm so glad I read that book

i read that book too, and that's why i found quitting the first time so easy. it's a very good method. i don't blame him for me starting again, that was my own stupidity. i need to re-read the book now to remind myself. i am confident it will help me again (for good ; i've learned my lesson...).
