Ricky, you have my undying admiration. I remember very well from this last weekend when Chris and I painted the office that painting is fun for about the first hour. Then it isn't. And doing it alone just bites.

It's not too awful doing it about one wall a day. Then it's fun the whole time.

Just got back from Cornwall where I was swimming in the sea this afternoon. Now sat down with a glass of wine and just received a gift of a painting I admired in a gallery in St Ives from my wife (she went back and bought it for me as a surprise!).

I'm shutting down the PC for the day. I'm going to force myself to do a little more wall and furniture work and then go to bed early with a good book. I'm on "Feet of Clay" by Terry Pratchett.
