And I remembered I did have some decent pictures of my desk... The first is when we first placed it, the second about a year later.

One of the two, yes. I put both on so they could both sleep on the desk and didn't have to argue over it. But do you think they do? Noooo.... One sleeps in one of the basket, the other comes and kicks the one from his sleeping perch, instead of going to that other basket...

oh sheesh, my cats do that too. if the little bug is sleeping on the bed, bast decides that is a great idea. but, does she go and sleep next to the little bug ? or in any other spot on the (definitely large enough for two cats) bed ? no. she goes and boots the little bug from her spot, and curls up there.

it's ridiculous.

Our cats fight over the kitty beds, too. Now we have a comforter folded up at the end of the bed and there's room for both of them. The larger one doesn't know what to make of this. He keeps feeling he ought to be trying to get what the smaller one is getting, i.e., her spot, but there's no boundary for him to use to assert this.

You folks who actually have desks and places to keep them... I have a rolling cart that I can use in the bedroom or on the couch or in the dining room. No desk, no office, no private space.

(The bedroom comes closest to "private space," until the Muffin Man wants to sleep, at which time I move out to another room.)

i know just what you mean. my desk is far too small for my taste, and overcrowded, and has too much stuff on / around it. i want to move it out of the bedroom into the living room but i can't figure out where i could set it up ; there's not really a good spot for it, and wherever i put it, i'll have to put whatever is currently there somewhere else... arg ! i wish i had more SPACE. i suppose it's better than a rolling cart... but actually a rolling cart i could move around sounds pretty good to me right now.

It's not his fault! I have a really small apartment and a ton of stuff (including some of dad's furniture) that I can't manage to throw away. heh, i know how that goes, i feel that way about some of my (very imperfect) furniture as well.

The only reason I know I still have a desk is that the pile of stuff, including the computer, that's hovering a few feet off the ground hasn't crashed to the floor yet...
