We had to use brackets from the hardware store. I was afraid Ryleigh would try to climb it (especially when she was around 4 and climbing absolutely everything) and pull the top hutch of David's desk down on top of her. We also attached a couple to the wall to make it doubly secure.

They came. They saw. I passed inspection.

THEN I took my Valium, Skelaxin, and a Darvocet .... and a two and a half hour nap. I'm up now (obviously), but still woozy from my meds.

I'm going to try to finish up a few things on my list today, and then I'm going back to bed. This whole process just stresses me out beyond belief.

A few cats made a run for the cat porch. Three hid under the bed, but we were still able to see them. I would say they were able to account for about 13 out of the 18, which is better than most of the inspections.

I have no idea where Robin hid. She just has this amazing ability to disappear completely, and then pop back into view when she wants something. She probably found a way to cram all 12 pounds of her into a teacup or something.

Thanks for all the good thoughts, and the karma. I don't know if it helped the inspection, but it sure as hell helps me.

Now, how come you still have a list??? If it does not include things like "take a relaxing bath", "read a good book" or "enjoy the wonderful temperature outside", throw it away immediately!
