Hi,
I realize the writing on the Dr is not as smooth as I expected. I wonder if this can be improved through software? And the lag time for the writing, is it due to the epaper tech, can it be improved also? Thanks |

My guess is that the lag is due to the current state of the art in e-paper technology and I do not expect it is possible to overcome this through software.
The smoothness is probably determined by the sample rate of the Wacom tablet. I can imagine the sample rate can be easily modified through software as long as the Wacom is able to keep up. However, I myself do not observe any practical problems with the smoothness. It used to be bad prior to FW 1.5, but now I have to move the stylus really fast to make the lines appear as a polyline instead of a curve, but maybe it is just me being a slow writer. Groen |
