Tough choice! Hawaii is delightfully tempting, but Pshrynk's "little hotel" looks like paradise! Thanks for the suggestions!
I shouldn't complain, someone needed to do the overtime, and I volunteered for it, so I have to accept my own decision.
I just needed a pick me up to keep moving - thanks for the hug Desert Grandma, it was well appreciated!

Get a tatoo. Then when you feel depressed, just look at it.

thank you dad, really, thank you!
Well it still works for now. Going for a walk and showing it to everyone I know also works, I just tried. (It is beautiful, whatever you can think of this way of expression)
Now, if we start talking "off thread topic" of our private lives, should I start posting photos of you? Like the one where you hug a 12-pack of beer?
Really need to find the device to plug memory cards on the computer...

I had to wait until my dad was drunk before I told him I had a tattoo (and this was long after I'd moved out!).

I've got a small black cat climbing down my shoulder. He reacted with mock outrage, made some sarcastic comments about wasting good money to disfigure myself, and promptly forgot all about it.

What've you got?

The cat moving on your body is a great idea!

A small blooming cherry tree branch, in a japanese stamp style, from higher back to shoulder, circling the neck.
...but the more I think about it, the more I want the whole tree! sshhhhh!

edit: Need I to mention I'll do homeworks from 5am to 7:30am tomorrow morning? I did try to start tonight, but I'm in no way able to differentiate the subtleties in the 15 different French translations of the word "as". I'm brain dead.

I have four, and hid the first few from my mother (she caught me eventually, of course).

I freaking HATE it when karma comes around to bite me in the ass (literally).

I had to move one of the big cat towers yesterday to clean under it. Out comes a fairly big scorpion (maybe 2 inches or so). Because I hate scorpions, I sucked it up with the vacuum and took it out with the trash).

So, last night, I'm lying in bed watching TV, and I feel something up against my butt. I thought it was a cat's whisker or something, then I felt this incredible pain, threw back the covers, and there was yet another scorpion. Unfortunately, after this obvious revenge drive by stinging, I made a thorough search of the bedding before I got back in. Finally fell asleep sitting on an ice pack.
