I think there must be a rule around here somewhere, about how one shouldn't drink while reading posts in the MR lounge!

You should all get up, go to the kitchen, take your Saran Wrap (or other brand of plastic sheets) and wrap your keyboards and computers with it! Oh so unglamorous, but really useful!
One of my ants does that with her remotes, first time I saw that I laughed for 10 minutes straight, but hey, it works!

What a great idea Verencat!

I do love this forum -- in the past couple of days I have learned about the dangers of caffeine in coffee and tea, how to compost, how to protect my computer from food/drink when laughing too hard, what kind of netbook to buy, and learned about a waterproof bag to protect my 505. Thank you everyone -- virtual karma to you all.

Right now, sitting at work after driving the Ark in to work vveerryy slowly due to all the rain-related accidents, now eating some donut holes and trying to dry out. Farking rain.

Not even donut holes can make this day brighter. And oh goody, got a meeting that starts at noon and goes all the way through tomorrow. CRAP! Gotta get together some crap to present, got to prove why we need funding. If I got struck by lightning right now, then I wouldn't need to worry about it. Has anybody got a golf club I may borrow? I'll go up on the roof and wave it around, and them BLAMMO! No more meeting!

Didn't Claude Greengrass always have a lurcher named Alfred on the TV series Heartbeat?

Eating graham crackers with tea, reading Mobileread, and trying to figure out why Thunderbird keeps asking me to retype my password. Multiple times. Every few minutes.

I'm trying to keep up with all the new posts in all of the fori that I subscribe to, but alas, I no longer can.

This is a good thing; more members, more members posting, more members creating threads.

I don't like to "Mark this forum read" but I just can't keep up any longer.
