Hi there,

first of all let me thank you all for your great input here. It has already helped me solve several problems. I just received my PRS-700 3 weeks ago (been reading on an iPaq for years now) and have been trying to find the best settings for converting my ebooks to suite my taste. Thanks to your advice and Kovidal's Calibre things have finally (almost) worked out (Kovidal: your an ebook reader's god).
I'll stay tuned.

P.S. Habe gehört, dass es demnächst ein Treffen der eBook-Leser in Frankfurt gibt. Wäre schön, wenn es nähere Details gäbe. Überhaupt: nett, wenn sich jemand aus dem Rheinland melden würde.
But otherwise... I'd love to hear from anyone around the world.

Welcome to MR, Redrogue

I've had my 505 since Christmas and take it everywhere with me. Pretty soon you will wonder how you ever read on anything else.

Hi Redrogue and welcome to MobileRead. Like you, I used to read on an iPaq but eInk and the Sony is a great improvement.
