Pencil me in, though this far ahead, I may have to fight to keep the weekend free! My S.O. (who, in this case, means "Summer Organizer" as well as "Significant Other") may come up with other plans if the weather is too good...

Good plan! Actually, NoVa has plenty of parks and good picnicking places, including parks with covered meeting spaces (and BBQ grills-- I'll bring the brats! When I say "Hillshire," you say "Farms!"). I'd bet we could find something really nice (if the weather permits, or course).

Cassidy has suggested a place just off I-395 and 236 in the west end of Alexandria called Mango Mike's. We can perhaps get a private room.
