Sorry, but I have to disagree with it. I had generated more than 200 covers with your plugin before 2024 & in every one them I had used the same font Eras ITC - Demi. I don't really remember what was the choosing method before but those book covers are still in my library showing the Demi weight of the font family.
So yeah, I definitely could choose the different weights before.

I don't know if anyone else is having this issue, but ever since updating the plugin yesterday, anytime I use it the window it opens is massive. I'm able to shrink the side to side aspects, but the up and down won't let me do anything. The bottom of the window is below my accessible desktop screen, and when I try to 'pull down' the top to shrink it, it pops back up no matter how many times I do it. I also tried using the Windows hotkeys to shrink it, and it does nothing.

I was having the same issue as yours.. it was because of some new changes in the plugin. My issues got solved after updating to v2.5.1; you should do the same.

It's your lucky day - it did actually rain here this afternoon. The dialog should now have more resizability vertically for those of you with small screens. Ive also replaced the bold checkbox with a dropdown of font weights.

@version365 - you could only use them with the older version of calibre - they did not work with the current calibre/Qt6. That was why you came here to post in the first place. Anyways glad your issues are resolved now with 2.5.1.

Hey, can I say I also appreciate fine typographic controls? I got my covers deliciously fine-tuned with SemiBold titles and Light series name. Thank you!

Thank you for your hard work on this! The new functions look great!

As I went to test the update out I noticed that my existing covers that use a full page image as the background now have a white section at the top.

The controls in the Dimensions tab do not solve the issue (Resize cover dimensions to match background image), and the 2nd option (Resize image to scale up if smaller than available area) cannot be checked.

Is there some new process I need to follow?
