I disabled Amazon and time is 5-10 sec per book. I use google/lubimyczytac.

Camoufox creates an empty directory to /home/username on Linux - would the better location be /tmp, if the directory is needed at all since it's empty?

I updated to this version a few days ago and the metadata download worked fine. Only today I get this error for ANY ebook I try to download metadata.

FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'D:\\Biblioteca\\Calibre Portable\\Calibre\\app\\bin\\python-lib.bypy.frozen\\apify_fingerprint_datapoints\\dat a\\input-network-definition.zip'

That file is not available in my calibre portable.

if you have the full calibre installed, try copying over the configuration and see if that works.

I reinstalled calibre portable in the same folder of previous install and now it works. Thanks!
Wondering what "corrupted" the previous install, though...

In the last 3 days I had to reinstall calibre portable 3 times because of the same error on metadata download - I can't pinpoint what causes the corruption and error FileNotFoundError input-network-definition.zip. I also added the exception to Avast to ignore the folder where calibre is installed, even if there wasn't any alert about possible viruses or malware. I have Win11 26H2 with all latest patches. Has anybody experienced the same issue?

Avast is rubbish. Uninstall it and use MS Defender.
