2000 books limit

I was downloading a few ebooks on my Kindle Scribe, 1st generation, and at the end of the transfer the Kindle showed a pop up with a warning that I was coming close to a limit for 2000 ebooks in the folder.
Anybody seen it ?
Apparently I need to transfer ebooks in other collections, unfortunately doing it by hand will be painful, I am not sure the Kindle,Collection tool in calibre will work on the Scribe.
Anybody seen the same in the past ?

ISTR one of the jailbreaks uses thousands of nested folders to induce a race condition or something that is exploited. This may be an Amazon way to avoid that.

Why would a jailbreak use thousands of nested directories?

It will be painful but tbh I would have started long ago. The minute a collection of mine passes 200 books I start creating new collections. I have about 170 collections on my kindles
