Post Kobo Clara HD screen issue

Hi all.

Could anyone confirm the issue I have.
I initially thought that my Kobo Clara HD had just crashed and frozen on the sleep screen. But I've now reimaged it (Thanks for that David). But the screen is just the same, the backlight came on briefly but now the LED just blinks constantly. I've searched through the forum for similar issues, but now think that the screen itself might be dead.
Appreciate any help.

Cheers
Ben

The screen is damaged because the the glass substrate is broken.

That's what I thought reading through others. Don't know how that's happened as it's never been dropped and is in a padded wallet when not in use. Gutted.
I might see if I can find a 2nd hand spare screen as parts somewhere.

Goood luck, all the second hand Clara's that I could find all had broken screens. My screen did that back in September, I have been using my kindle.
