Meebook P78 Pro — forgotten lock password, need stock firmware or recovery steps

Hi all,

I’ve got a Meebook P78 Pro (7.8" e-ink Android tablet, made by Shenzhen Haoqing Technology) and I’ve forgotten the lock screen password. I’m trying to factory reset it, but the device only has a power button, a USB-C port, and an SD card slot — no volume buttons, no reset pinhole, nothing else.

I’ve tried:

Holding the power button for 50+ seconds while off — just boots normally back to the lock screen, no recovery menu.
Contacting Meebook support directly — they only suggested a random PIN guess, which didn’t work.

Does anyone have stock firmware for the P78 Pro specifically, or know the exact button/timing combo to reach recovery mode on this model? I saw firmware threads here for the M7 and M8, but wasn’t sure if those are compatible with the P78 Pro or if it needs its own.

Any help would be massively appreciated — thanks in advance!

There is a reset pinhole on the P78 Pro. It's the small hole next to the left side of the charging port.
