Hello everyone,
I made a free ebook reader for the PC and I'd like feedback from people who read a lot. It is called bulleye. I wanted ebooks to have the same convenience and features like PDFs in Acrobat: scroll straight through the book, keep a page count that stays the same when you zoom, bookmark and resume, and copy text for research. bulleye opens EPUB (Electronic Publication), MOBI (Mobipocket) and AZW3 (Amazon Kindle Format 8) files. What's in it: • Continuous scrolling or page-by-page, one-page or two-page view • Library with covers, progress and sorting; add a whole folder • Bookmarks, highlights in four colours, notes, and search inside the book • Read aloud using system voices, dictionary lookup, auto scroll • Dark, Light, Sepia and Black themes • Free, no account, no ads, updates itself Limits: it does not open DRM (Digital Rights Management) protected books and there is no Mac version. Download (Windows installer and Linux file): https://github.com/drawerjo/bulleye/releases I'm especially interested in how it handles your oddly formatted or very large books, and which features you miss from your current reader. Thank you for any feedback. |
