Yes! I actually added a few options more than what I mentioned earlier, so it's already implemented for the next beta.

I removed the .5 text size because the maximum is bigger now. I'll make sure to add .5 text sizes for anything < 20pt back, good point.

I dont' think, that it is a book thing. i tried several book and it happens with all of them. Therefore i asked for a downgrade to beta2 so that I can test it.

I recommend removing all of `.adds/kobalt` first. That will automatically uninstall it. When that's done, you can manually install beta 2. Link here.

If you have an epub that renders correctly in beta 2 but is broken in beta 3, feel free to email it to me, as well. Contact address is on the website.

I don't think I will edit the book, I'll just using Nickel for this book until you fix it. I upload the scrambled version of the book here for you if it helps.

I have seen this happen on a couple of ebooks where instead of leaving the background color and color as defaults, they were forced. I've attached screenshots of a test epub in normal and dark mode on a Sage and Libra Colour. Notice the change in the treatment of set to black and set to white lines between the two devices.

Yes, I just did, thanks for your input. I know it’s mainly the publisher’s fault that the book looks like this in Dark mode, but I won’t bother editing the book. It’s the renderer’s job to ignore the nonsense formatting and make it readable anyway.
In Nickel it looks good, Kobalt has an issue with it.

- Title of the book
- Author of the book
- Current page in chapter
- Current page in book
- Battery icon (with percentage)

- Estimated reading time left (chapter)
- Estimated reading time left (book)

You'll have 6 slots (top left, top middle, top right, bottom left, bottom middle and bottom right) and you will be able to decide how large you want the text to be. Estimates will be based on your average reading speed.

When you do change the header/footer, can you not force the text to be all caps? Is the estimated reading time fairly accurate? With Kobo's firmware, it's not accurate. Also, when displaying page numbers, can we have an option to have ADE/RMSDK page numbers? An option to set the text size of the header/footer and an option to set the spacing from the bottom would be good. It would also be good to have the header/foot at the top/bottom of the screen to take up as little space as possible.

That's very interesting. All Books render correctly with .5 textsizes and wrong with .0 textsizes. Doesn't matter which textsize.

I know this is a bit off-topic and I can just DM you if you think it's more appropriate. How does that work to have multiple agents working on something? As is parallel working on different problems?

I recently started using Hermes to create a fork of NickelStorygraph for Firmware 5.18+ (https://github.com/dkuester/NickelStorygraph) but it never ocured to me not to go one problem after the next, no clue how I would employ multiple agents at the same time.

(By the way, the model used your work on your mods as a basis for reverse engineering the changes in 5.18+ so I hopefully did give you enough credit in the readme).
