I have prepared version 5.1.3 of the Moly.hu metadata source plugin.

This update fixes ISBN searches so that the plugin selects the matching edition instead of returning metadata from the first edition listed for the work.

The downloaded ISBN, publisher, publication year and cover now all belong to the same matching edition. Cover downloads using only an ISBN or a direct Moly.hu identifier also work without requiring a title.

Compatible with calibre 5 or newer and tested with calibre 9.13.

I have prepared version 5.1.4 of the Moly.hu metadata source plugin.

This update fixes ISBN searches after Moly.hu changed its book page layout. The plugin could no longer find the list of editions on the page, so ISBN lookups returned no results. It now detects the editions again and selects the matching one.

Compatible with calibre 5 or newer and tested with calibre 9.13.

Every version worked perfectly for me, but they’ve made changes on the Moly website, and now it doesn’t work for items like *Galaktika*—since those lack an ISBN. This applies to both version 5.1.3 (which used to work) and 5.1.4.

I have prepared version 5.1.5 of the Moly.hu metadata source plugin.

This update addresses books that have no ISBN on Moly.hu, such as the Galaktika issues. If none of the Moly.hu works found for the book's ISBN lists that ISBN as an edition, the plugin now retries without the ISBN and searches by title and author. Books without an ISBN are searched by title and author as before.

Compatible with calibre 5 or newer and tested with calibre 9.13.

@xtraktor: thank you for the report. In my tests Galaktika issues without an ISBN were found by title and author with 5.1.4 as well, so if a book is still not found with 5.1.5, please post its title, author and identifiers, and the metadata download log (calibre shows it after the download).

@acsaszi: if metadata still does not work with 5.1.5 on calibre 9.15/9.16, please post the same download log.
