While we wait for the official Kindle Click to be on sale, we should be able to use:

Should be compatible with any Kindle model from 2024 or later, running firmware version 5.20.1 or later.

Should be easy to do on other devices with BLE too.

I do not think this will work, unless my Scribe (2025) has not yet had the feature turned on, and it is running latest firmware. It will not pair with my page turner foot petal.

I've ordered Click but it will not arrive until as late as Nov 2.

Scribe (2025) with firmware 5.20.1 should work with it

An interesting app, but pointless if you have to unlock your smartphone to use it. A lit-up screen and increased battery usage – so I think you're better buying the remote control if you really need something like this.

@zuyang. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. I'm using a PW6SE running firmware 5.20.1.

The pairing process completes successfully, and my Kindle recognizes it as a Kindle Click. However, when I press the buttons in the Android app, the Kindle doesn't respond at all.

Even if the buttons worked, I don't think it would be practical. The app needs to remain active in the foreground, and switching to another app requires re-establishing the Bluetooth connection.
