Nice job. Thank you. Would it be possible to add the title of the book to the header or the footer ? With the author it would be greater.

But why do you need all of this info in the header / footer? You know which book you're reading, don't you?

Go to your bookshelf and open 3 or 4 physical books, and let me know what you see in the headers and footers.

Yes, I chose to only support the latest devices that I know are capable of doing the animation correctly. I plan on expanding this to more devices later.

Feel free to DM me the stress test book. I'll see what I can do There's a good chance it'll work on the upcoming beta 3, which improves how books are loaded.

Yes, this is coming in an upcoming update (likely beta 4 or 5) where you will be able to customize the header and footer. I expect you to be able to choose where to place:

- Title of the book
- Author of the book
- Current page in chapter
- Current page in book
- Battery icon (with percentage)
- Battery icon (without percentage)
- Current time
- Estimated reading time left (chapter)
- Estimated reading time left (book)

You'll have 6 slots (top left, top middle, top right, bottom left, bottom middle and bottom right) and you will be able to decide how large you want the text to be. Estimates will be based on your average reading speed.

This bionic text issue is driving me bonkers, a short trip I will agree.
After finishing my current book I open a new one and bingo, it's back when I use Kobalt but not the OE reader, not on all my books but about 3/4 of the ones I checked.
At first I thought it was the ones without imbedded text but it makes no difference. Anyone have a simple way other than re-downloading my books to get rid of it? For now I'm in dark mode as the bolding is less noticeable but it still ticks me off I can't find the reason.

Great Job! Very goog reading app and highly customizable. Altough it ist Beta, it runs very stable on my Sage.

One thing i would really like to have: Default settings for Text and Layout, so that i don't have to change them to my needs in every book.

Hmm. Can you uninstall it, also while deleting the .adds/kobalt folder? Reboot after that, and reinstall beta 2: there's a chance some incorrect data got cached and that fixes it.

If it remains the same, please consider mailing me the epub. You should be able to find my contact email address on the Kobalt website.

It would also be nice if the chapter and title information WASN'T IN ALL CAPS. Why oh why did Kobo decide that looked nice?
