Go7 bootloop after battery dropped to 0%

So I left my Go7 in a drawer for a while (probably a month) and when I went to boot it back up last week, it was stuck at the BOOX logo. Unlike a lot of other posters, it wasn't bootlooping, it just remained idle. The power button, if long pressed for 10+ seconds, would cause the screen to flash briefly, but that was that.

After going through many threads around here, I figured out the following:

The device was stuck in fastboot, but my Windows 11 PC never managed to get a working driver. Thankfully, passing it through WSL allowed me to use fastboot on Ubuntu.

After buying an EDL cable, I managed to get it to boot in EDL. I downloaded the latest 4.2 firmware, decrypted it, unpacked it, and flashed all of the usual partitions. No dice, it'd just go back to fastboot.

What ended up doing something was the combination of using the modded ABL file, the modded FRP file, Renate's misc-bootloader image, *and* switching the active partition to b. I was flashing both _a and _b each time, but _a wouldn't work no matter what. Doing this allowed me to go back to fastboot and reboot to recovery from there.

Now, my problem is that the device still refuses to boot properly, but I can't apply the entire update.zip via adb sideload because the timestamp is somehow older than the firmware I manually flashed from that same zip file? I've scoured the web for a copy of an older firmware image which I could EDL onto it to then run the sideload (hoping the EDL'd firmware timestamp would be older), but I couldn't find anything 4.1 or older.

So I guess my question would be: is there either a recovery image that patches out the timestamp check, or a download URL for an older firmware for the Go7?
