16°C and getting sunny.

Rumpelteazer · 09-29-2026, 12:14 AM

Yesterday was an unexpected rainy day, it was raining off and on all day. Overnight there was also some rain predicted. Which turned out to be a thunderstorm which first worked my way into my dream before waking me up.

Today should be a warm day, up to 27℃ and sunny, tomorrow will be similar but a couple of degrees cooler. This is very warm for the time of year. Tomorrow evening the rain will return and it will rain most of Thursday.

Rumpelteazer · 10-02-2026, 12:07 AM

After a couple of warm and humid nights it finally cooled down this past night. Yesterday morning around 7am it was 20℃ and this morning it'll be around 10℃. It looks like the daytime weather will be similar to yesterday; 20℃, dry and with only a light breeze, but it should be a little bit more sunny.

The weekend will bring more of the same, but by mid week next week temperatures will drop to normal for this time of year (around 16℃) and there's more chance of rain.

This weekend was nothing short of glorious. We've been quite ill, and it was a delight to open all the windows and push out the sick air.

DNSB · 10-05-2026, 04:44 PM

17°C and sunny. A lovely day for a walk with the grandpooch.

Rumpelteazer · 10-08-2026, 12:19 AM

We've been having some nice days this week. Not very sunny, but calm weather; 20℃+, dry and a light breeze. That changed overnight. It looks like fall has now truly arrived. It'll be a rainy couple of days, temperatures have dropped to 14℃ to 16℃ and it's windy.

I had hoped to go to Amsterdam tomorrow, my first full weekday off in a while. But it's going to rain pretty much all day. So instead I'm going to have a lazy day at home. My sister's working from home tomorrow, so we're going to have lunch together. Hopefully next Friday the weather will be better and I can have my day out.

DNSB · 10-08-2026, 01:51 AM

Down to 12°C and mostly clear though I can see the fog bank making it's way up Burrard Inlet.

Rumpelteazer · 10-11-2026, 09:24 AM

We've had very autumnal weather since Friday. Lots of rain, very windy. Today there was more sun, in between the rain showers. This weather will continue until Tuesday and then on Wednesday and Thursday it'll be sunny and warm (up to 20℃). And on Friday autumn will resume.

poohbear_nc · 10-11-2026, 12:03 PM

after some gorgeous autumn days summer is returning for a week or so - temps back into the 80's, after severe storms roll through today - 100% humidity outside right now

Rumpelteazer · 10-19-2026, 12:27 AM

The weather over the weekend was better that predicted.

Right now it's 11℃, the sun should come out late morning/early afternoon and the temperature should go up to 15℃. Overnight it's going to get cold, close to freezing, but tomorrow should be another nice day, though a couple of degrees colder than today.

From Wednesday autumn is back, it'll get windy and rainy. I'm hoping that next week we're getting nice weather; we're going on vacation and would like to have some outdoor trips.

DNSB · 10-19-2026, 12:32 AM

The weekend was great fall weather and the weatherfolk say the next week will be more of the same though the overnight lows hitting down to 5°C are a bit nippy.

Rumpelteazer · 10-20-2026, 12:26 AM

It's a lot colder this morning; 6℃, but due to windchill it feels like 2℃. So I need to wear my warm coat this morning. Yesterday wasn't as sunny as predicted, but today should be better, though it will only be 12℃.

The current prediction is that the worst of the rain should hold off until Friday, so hopefully I can get to work without getting rained on in the morning.

I'm also keeping an eye on next week's weather, the weather services all agree it'll be around 15℃, but they don't agree whether it'll be mostly dry or whether it'll be rainy.

Rumpelteazer · Today, 12:28 AM

It's been a cold and windy couple of day. Although the rain did hold off mostly. Today will be cold again; 12℃, very windy and around 7am it'll start raining. So with the wind and rain I decided to take the tram to work today instead of cycling.

Tomorrow there's a possibility of the first fall storm. It'll rain a lot and the wind will get stronger throughout the day. On Saturday and Sunday it'll stay rainy, windy and cool.

But at least next week is looking better. Only a little bit of rain with sunny spells. So that's great for our vacation day trips we want to do.
