10 free ebook copies for honest reviews — dystopian literary thriller (68pp)

AuzelMakadam · 10-09-2026, 04:23 AM

Offering 10 free ebook copies of "My Brother on the Moon: Volume One — A Dystopian Thriller" (~68 pages, on Kindle Unlimited) in exchange for honest reviews on Goodreads and/or Amazon.

In a city that gives every citizen 23 hours plus 1 hour of borrowed time, a parasite carries a brother's consciousness — and the extra hour is paid for by someone else.

- Length: ~68 pages / ~20k words (a quick read)
- Genre: literary dystopian thriller
- Published Nov 9, 2025 — finished book
- Review window: 3-4 weeks
- To get a copy: reply here or email dexswellenstein@outlook.de — I'll send a PDF/EPUB.

First come, first served. Thanks!

Small correction to my pitch above (better describes the book):

In Ventenstein City, a virus gives the infected one murderous hour a day. Auzel Makadam buried a hundred strangers before a man named Dexs taught him the difference between surviving and living — then betrayed him and died. Now Auzel hunts through a city where anyone might be infected, and trust itself is a death sentence.

Quick update for anyone watching this thread: Book One is free on Kindle this weekend, Oct 10-11. If the premise sounded interesting but $2.99 felt like a gamble on an unknown name, this is the zero-risk window. Happy to hear what you think, here or on Goodreads.

Free this weekend on Kindle (Oct 10-11): My Brother on the Moon — a dystopian novella, ~68 pages, $2.99 after, always free on Kindle Unlimited.

The sickness in Ventenstein shows up for one hour a day, at a different time for everyone. What each citizen does inside their own hour is their crime; what the hour leaves in the streets is the city's merchandise, priced nightly on the bounty board. Auzel buries the bodies and keeps the accounts — this week the accounts list him. Then a stranger starts showing up just to talk about the moon, and about the brother Auzel sent there.
