FR: Remove recent history?

I'm using AppImage version and there is no way to remove history from the application GUI. Usually the clear option is located under the list itself so it would be easier to find for users.

I'm unclear what you mean by "usually".
The applications you use all have it?
Most applications in general have it?

I ask because being able to clear the recent list with a button in applications is pretty spotty in my experience. On both Linux and Windows.

I checked and of the last 23 applications I used that had a recent files list, 12 of them had a clear list option somewhere and 11 of them didn't. 15 of the applications have the ability to have multiple documents open simultaneously (LibreWriter, Notepad++, etc) while 8 will only operate on a single document/file. HxD Hex Editor is an example of one that has a 10 file recent list but no clear option.

Personally, as long as the list does not grow endlessly, a clear button is not something I can get excited over.
