Newbie from Holland

Hi everyone, today my Sonyreader PRS-700 finally got delivered.
It was about time, I have waited three weeks since buying it via eBay US. This model is not for sale (yet) in my part of Europe.
As I do not possess a US registered credit card I can not order eBooks via the Sony eBookstore, but Waterstone's provide an okay alternative. And off course I have browsed the many sides providing free eBooks.
Anyway, after playing with the reader for an hour or so I can only say that I am very happy with it. Going forward I hope to share some experiences and off course would like to learn from the contributors to this forum.

Hi ubuking and welcome.

Congrats on your new reader! WH Smith, Books on Board, and Fictionwise are also good places to get books for your 700. Happy reading!

Thanks, I am familiar with Books on Board but will definitely try the other two.

Welcome to the forum and let me know how you like the 505 as I'm still undecided.

Welcome to this forum!

With some luck, by the end of the summer you'll be able to buy at bol.com too.

(and F1Wild, he has a 700, not a 505!)

Hi, welcome from a fellow 700 user. (I also lived in The Netherlands until last August when I moved back to the UK).
