Buy your books elsewhere and sideload them to your Nook via USB.

They might also want an US credit/debit card, but I'm not sure about that.
Anyway, there's no reason to bother with B&N as there are other stores that sell internationally. Buying from Kobo, Google Play or Ebooks.com wouldn't even require removing DRM to read the books on your Nook. |

If the OP wants to sync over wifi, they'd better buy a Kindle than try jumping through hoops with their Nook. Especially if they're not all that tech-savvy (as would seem from their post).

Maybe. There may be a finance issue? What about their previous Nook content?

Now if they'd complained about wanting to download previously bought content, I would have answered differently. |

Best for the OP (and others) to know all the options/tradeoffs? |

Well, I don't know if a VPN is enough to buy from B&N and download to your Nook, as I've never tried. Maybe you need an US address and/or bank card as well, and maybe you'd need to install a VPN on your Nook, which I have no idea how to do.

And I'm rather ignorant about Nook also and of the OP's environment. Do they have a PC/Mac? Does the Nook handle ACSM files? Does the Nook have cloud storage access? ...

I had a Nook once, but I sideloaded everything to it, and of course I can't buy ebooks from B&N. I haven't read about anyone outside US bothering with buying B&N ebooks, so there's very little information about that. |

If the OP has no computer, then they'll probably have to get a Kindle, as there would be no way for them to either buy books from B&N or sideload to their Nook. Last edited by Sirtel; Yesterday at 03:38 PM. |
