Some unofficial Picco pre-release information, which may or may not change for the actual release, I guess:

An ereader that is "adorable"?

Humanity, indeed, has fallen into a dark hole. [Murakami.]

Things that are not adorable:

Old people with wrinkles
Toilets
Pillows with mold
Dirty dishes
One shoe on the side of the road
Killer clowns
Pimples
Nose hair trimmers
A dead skunk on the road
Ebook readers

Chalid has a review of the Picco with a pre-release: https://youtu.be/TIYzfKqKjM0
The device does not support the epub file format natively. Epubs have to be converted to opub. What utter rubbish.

You may be able to flash Crosspoint, but Chalid does not have the official released version of Picco.

Unfortunately no mention if the Picco supports dictionaries natively. I guess, it does not.

The Q&A section has questions about dictionaries and the responses say it does not have any.

There are some questions about the Boox Picco answered here, including re: USB transfer, Crosspoint, Koreader and Calibre (they’re working on compatibility with Calibre and Koreader apparently):
