When I got my first iPhone without a headphone jack, I bought a USB-C dongle to 3.5mm headphone jack.I sometimes use it on my laptop even thought it has a headphone jack.

I hate dongles. It's something extra to carry, it adds bulk, and you're screwed if you forget to bring it.

Except you need the SE at $249. Plus the case at $80. Plus the extra weight. And it looks very uncomfortable to hold, with that sharp lip protruding. We'll see about that once it's available.

Amazon states, “Charges your Kindle directly, simply remove your cover before docking.” Simply! That sounds like more work than just plugging in a USB-C cable!

Not hardly. I have a choice of purchasing a case that I may or may not like, or having another device to keep track of. Not to mention that neither choice works on the 2 Kindles I already have. I like my readers that have buttons built in.

Personally, I think that a Bluetooth page turner for Kindles is long overdue. Being able to turn pages without making physical contact with the device and without a clunky clip-on will work great with my reading habits.

The BT page turner is an option. You don't have to buy one if you don't want. But if you want, it's available. So it's not greed. It's an option that you don't have to get if you don't want. Now if it was something that should have been included but wasn't then it's greed.

The cover with the buttons is also not greed as it's also an option. I don't want or need buttons as the touchscreen works for me.

Well that is true enough. We all have options. I have the option to buy a Nook or Kobo because they have the option I prefer.

A device without a case is not the same thing as a device with a case. That seems fairly obvious.
