PocketBook Inkpad 4 (PB743) battery replacement

Hi!

I'd like to buy a new battery for my Inkpad 4 e-reader. I've searched on Google, but couldn't find one anywhere. Does anyone know if there are any aftermarket (or perhaps original) batteries available for it?

One thing you can do is open the Inkpad 4 and see what batter is used. Then try to find one.

You would need to measure the battery first.

Dimensions: Often labeled as 306070 (indicating 3.0mm x 60mm x 70mm, though you must measure your original to be sure) or designated as 740/740 Pro replacements.

It's also possible that the Inkpad 4 uses the same battery as the 740/740 Pro. But I am not sure on that.

How many people have battery problems with newer Pocketbook devices is insane !

It seams hardware platform is allmost the same, just some functions are new,
wuthout addressing this common issue.

Hi.

The InkPad 4 definitely does not use the same battery as the InkPad 740 !
I own both models, and the battery from the 740 model is significantly smallern (~ L:7,8/H:6,2cm) and besides that, it has a completely different connection Power pins !

Don't be misled into buying something that almost certainly won't fit.

The battery in the InkPad 4 looks like this (see image).
It's a shame you don't live in France; I would gladly give you that battery. It's practically new the problem was with the screen, which stopped working after less than two months of use.

However, you can try searching for it using the model number : JL268595PL

Thanks a lot for the picture! Unfortunately, I can't find anything on Google using the model number! It seems no one wants to manufacture a battery for this specific model. The exception is JinLu, the manufacturer of the original. But I couldn't find that either...
