Relative to 4.x, the release notes are accurate. Compared to 5.18, mostly bug fixes and some WIP stuff I don't want to comment on in case it's inaccurate.

No, it means that epubs no longer use rmsdk.

RMSDK is alive and well for Adobe DRM-protected ePubs. Like I noted earlier in other discussion threads, it's now only used for opening Adobe ePubs (but you can turn it on for all epubs via developer options).

I just got a prompt to update to the beta with this firmware revision on my Libra Colour. Since I don't have anything sideloaded on it, I'm going to give it a shot.

That is a screenshot from a youtube video.

Does anyone have the bug where the 'Advanced' option, next to the selected 'Font Face', is missing.

Since updating to the 5.x and now 6.x version the rectangle of the selected Font, e.g. Rakuten Serif from the image, is stretching to the right end of the screen. So that the Rectangle is actually missing its right side, its a three-sided rectangle.

And therefore the 'Advanced' option is missing for me. I also don't see the downward pointing 'v' symbol from the rectangle.

Not sure if that's just me or generally a bug for that firmware.

My guess: you have a font with a long name in there, and the box is being resized to fit the font's name and that moves the Advanced panel to the right (out of view).

(Yes, there's a bunch of bugs in the reader software here. Quite a few of them, sadly.)

That is pretty much what the 3 pages of What's New show after installing the v6.0.2744003 firmware. It includes much of what was new in the v5 firmware for those who may never have seen the v5 firmware What's New items.

One new item seems to be the last item under Adobe Sign-in when you can add .acsm files to your Kobo and it will download the ePub.

Thanks to you guys I figured it out now, it seems there was one font installed that had a super long name. I didn't select the font, but just because it existed it messed up the interface.

After I deleted it from the fonts folder now my interface is back to normal, and I have the Advanced button.
