Wi-Fi transfer is no longer working.

Hello,

I have a Sony PRS-T1 e-reader.
I am using Calibre version 9.15.

I transfer my books from Calibre to the e-reader via Wi-Fi using the Calibre server.

I have just noticed that when I transfer the books, they appear on the e-reader with the filename: *Name of my Calibre library*-N.bin (where N is a number—1, 2, 3, 4, etc.).

Naturally, if I click on the book on the e-reader's download page, it cannot be opened (since it is a .bin file) and does not appear in the e-reader's library.

Can you help me?

What version of calibre did you run when download eBooks last worked?

I don't know, the last time I performed that procedure was a year ago. I had downloaded about ten books (which is how long it took me to read them). I always install updates on the day they are released.

I could run some tests myself, but it doesn't seem possible to download older versions to check when the bug first appeared. I checked GitHub, and there’s nothing available.
So, I can no longer transfer books to the e-reader :-(

Thanks for the releases!

I was able to run the tests.
After installing several older releases, I identified the version where the issue first appeared:
- up to v9.7: No bug
- v9.8: Bug appeared

At the same time, I noticed that:
- in version v9.7, using the Sony e-reader, you cannot view the book's details page in the browser; you can only click "ePub" to start the download
- starting with v9.8, it is once again possible to view the book's details page.

Note: For each test, I kept the same preferences folder used up to version v9.15:
C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\calibre

Otherwise, the tablet's browser connects but displays nothing.
