Problem with Merging
Calibre 9.14.0
Book List Plus 2.0.2

Merge Books fails with:

AttributeError: 'InjectedHybridView' object has no attribute 'rows_for_merge'

Ah ha!

Reenabled Book List Plus with a hunch,

The problem only occurs when trying to merge with the plugin showing the book covers. Without disabling the plugin - I simply toggled it off - so it showed the normal book list without the covers - and the merge worked fine,

Which is great because I really like the plugin

I am reviewing the screenshots linked to this post and installed the plug in to mirror the UI screenshot. How exactly do I mirror the UI Book List view (the first image)?

Hi and welcome to MR!

There are several custom elements in that screenshot.

As a first step, I'd suggest you install and run the attached plugin in order to retrieve the Goodreads Author notes. This will create the Author notes (bio, author profile pic...) but not the custom columns.

Then the second step is to create the custom column to allow displaying the Author Bio. The plugin Columns Helper has a preset for this in its Column Packs Browser.

The yellow icon inside the Author column is implemented by a rule at Look & Feel -> Column Icons

Ah, I see. Have a look at the Extended Book Details plugin. It implements both the left panel customization and the narrow view personalization (book details beneath the list)
