try to use a old samsung tab
Got given a galaxy gt-p7500 android 4.0 after factory reset and does not upgrade.
Try to connect to the content server on 192.168.178.22:8080 local works.
As the browser is OLD i want to apply the /mobile but have no idea how.
All i try , not working on the pad before and after the URL.

It would be a nice reading pad,all would work if not for the lock-ins start to get a DRM taste.

Any tips and hints very welcome as my asorty curses to google grow per minute

P.S. On the raspberry on the LAN it works perfectly,only ask for https setup,wil not do that as the pad will have no HTTPS

191 is not a common first octet.
192.168 is more common for home networks

Type http://192.168.178.22:8080/mobile into the browser address bar.

However the /mobile version does have a reader so you'd need an app on the tablet. So you'd need to find an apk for an old version of an ebook reader app.

@latepaul Ok that works, partly i see and can browse the books. Sadly it now only want to download the books.then the on board reader does nothing with it,think the epub is to modern .Its a start.

@skrlet13 hard to find anything,this is more for the tech rant but the force you with there crapware and then you cant use it with there crap system.

That is of no Help to the OP. An old Tab still has a browser and a file manager.
