I am trying to contact the member DNSB regarding a verified Kobo Aura Edition 2 (N236) V1 raw recovery image. However, I cannot send DNSB a private message because PM access is disabled on my account.

Could a moderator please enable PMs for my account? If additional public posts or an account-age requirement is necessary, please let me know.

Hello DNSB,

My Private Messaging has just been enabled, so I wanted to contact you directly regarding my Kobo Aura Edition 2 N236 V1.

The device became stuck at the “Restoring” screen after a third-party interface installation. I carefully removed the internal microSD card and created a read-only backup, but the original card has multiple unreadable areas.

I am looking for a verified clean N236 V1 / Kobo6 microSD raw image or recovery image. I do not need any books or personal data; my only goal is to make the reader boot again.

The board uses the NXP i.MX6SoloLite processor, and the device serial information identifies it as V1 hardware. I can provide motherboard photographs, partition details, checksums, and recovery information if useful.

If you have a suitable image, or know where one can be obtained, I would be very grateful.

Thank you for your time and for helping Kobo owners recover their devices.
