No, there is an exemption for batteries that retain more than 80% of their battery after 10,000 cycles

I don't know of any battery that will last for 80% at 10,000 charges.

I preordered the 18 pro max yesterday. Glad to get back to max size again. That'll be much better for reading when out and about. Getting the 16 pro was a mistake. Stepped up to 512 gb memory as well. Instead of transcoding all my CD rips to 256 kb AAC, I can now just load up the lossless files.

Yes, have all my music, books and home movies on a 512 Pro Max but don’t use the phone much for reading preferring the Mini. That was my hope for the Duo, phone and reading on one device.

One thing the Duo might having going for it is the matte finish on the open screen. No, or little, reflection. I noticed this on several of the reviews now showing up on YouTube.

Yea, I have a mini for home reading, but when out and about or traveling for work on airlines, it's just the phone. I could have done the duo, but decided against that.


I thought about the duo for reading as well, but decided against that, the use case was not so great and at home I use a kindle, iPad pro or mini. I felt like for casual use, phone, text, looking something up quick in safari, I'd be using the outer screen and I'd rather have the full size screen available with the pro max. One thing that really bugs me with the pro is the smaller keyboard, I'm constantly hitting the wrong key.

As far as the new ATV, some code leaks suggest a new processor, better remote, apple AI, and wi-fi 7. I don't care about any of that my 3 gen still works just fine. I won't upgrade.
