Parsing errors

Ingram spark insists there's an error with one of my span tags. I've been through them all and can't find it so it's probably not something obvious, but I don't know much about how they work. Please tell me where the span error is

The validator does not like this line:

<span lang="en"><em><a >She</a></em></span>

You'll need to wrap the <span> tag in a block level tag. For example:

<p class="block_12"><span lang="en"><em><a >She</a></em></span></p>

I noticed that one was different but I didn't know it was a span issue. Thanks very much. it's working now

And maybe in the future place these threads in the general EPUB forum where they can be seen by everyone since they really are not Sigil specific at all.
