Hello, I have the Kobo Clara BW with the early access firmware version 5.18.270971.
When I try to copy the annotations or highlights from the books using KoboUtilities I only the following information for each book.

(Title, Author, Last read, Percentage read)

Fight Club · Der Roman zum Film by Palahniuk, Chuck

Zuletzt gelesenes Buch: 2026-09-11 02:28:12
Prozent gelesen: 100%

The Kobo database KoboReader.sqlite does contain the annotations. I want to back them up with KoboUtilities so I can downgrade to the 4.x firmware and copy the books back and add the annotations back, if that is possible?

Do you know what happens to the database when you downgrade? Maybe the annotations get kept. I don't know as I've never downgraded or read what happens to the data in the database when you do downgrade.

If I'm not mistaken, when you downgrade everything gets deleted, the books and everything.

I can confirm, I lost all settings and read stats when I upgraded and the same when I downgraded.
