Economist failed after upgrade to 9.10

I cannot download The Economist after updating Calibre to 9.14

That has nothing to do with the update. Eco changed its protections again.

Nope as I explained in the linked thread this is unlikely to be easily fixable it will require calibre to integrate something like camoufox which is not a short term thing.

Would adding recipe support for an Economist username and password bypass the Economist's blocking? I subscribe to The Economist, but use Calibre to add issues to my Kindle.

yt-dlp has run a years-long epic whack-a-mole duel with YouTube. Since incorporating the deno package (javascript, etc. web agent) it’s never been better. Maybe some hypernerd out there could glue this into a Python script for the Economist.

No, last time I tried this the servers still block even with logged in users.
