There is a new Kindle app from the Microsoft Store. I've not downloaded it so I don't know the new version number.

If that's the new version then yes. It was today I saw the MS Store wanting to download it and I canceled it.

However, upon checking, there is a new DeDRM. So I've installed it.

Amazon are changing them pretty quickly. I'm on the version prior, but that's not available now.

From an email I just received (9/1/26) from Epubor:

I'm sorry, but we just learned that Kindle was updated AGAIN to the new version 1.0.23620, and our current Epubor Ultimate does not support the new Kindle version yet. Our team is working on this issue; please wait patiently. We will fix this issue and find a solution as soon as possible.

No one has been able to explain to me why all my Kindle books, dragged and dropped into Calibre from a Kindle device, all come through as KFX-ZIP. My workaround is to leave the KFX-ZIP alone and use Kindle for Windows to download my books (stored in C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Packages\AMZNKindl e.AmazonKindleReadingApp_m1sc522ngdk36\LocalState\ Classic\Content) that Epubor reads and can convert that download to EPUB. It's time consuming and a real PIA.

You got RIPPED OFF by buying epubor. They are using code they stole that most of us are using very well for free.

Your Kindle was updated to have new DRM. You cannot use it for removing DRM unless you jailbreak it.

Several people have explained it to you in several different threads (which you seem to never visit again after posting your question). Eink Kindles can no longer be used to deDRM Kindle books, unless they're jailbroken.

Because we aren't giving him/her the answer he wants. And he doesn't want to hear that he got ripped off by that trash software makers.

Not really. And I don't see why you'd refer to someone with a female name as "he" on the infinitesimal chance she's male. If you think there's a doubt, you could always check the profile before misgendering. It won't always say, but it's a step you clearly couldn't be bothered to take.

I don't really think so. It occurred to me that maybe she thinks she'll get an auto-notification when someone replies and so doesn't check any threads herself. Of course she won't get notified because she's not subscribed to any threads, and so she thinks no one ever replies...

That would certainly explain her posting the same questions more than once and never returning.

I always thought that posting in a thread automatically subscribes you to that thread. It always works that way for me.
Of course [sth]e[ y] may have changed some setting and not be getting notifications.

Yes, there's a setting for auto-subscribing, but I don't remember if it's default or manual (I have it disabled, and again I can't recall if it was always that way or I set it manually).
