There was one online shop I made one purchase from that did that before they went out of business. Their .acsm files were set to expire in 47 hours. I was on a family vacation and did not have the chance to do the download within that time period. I ended up re-purchasing my only purchase from them from Kobo where the expiry period is even shorter but you can re-download the .acsm file without needing someone to manually reset your account.

I use Kobo /Rakuten for all my downloaded ebooks. I have a unique email address for Kobo.
Since this change has been announced I have received several spam emails to this address. So only known to Kobo and Adobe AND NOW to Wipro.
Is this the Wipro that is based in India and were the source of the Teamviewer epidemic of scam a few years ago?

I don't use an explicit Adobe client for ACSM.
