ePub isn't that different from OEB, is it? The eBookwise already imports that.

You, may! And since I have a fairly famous brother (at least here in the US and in sports circles) you may share him, as well. Here's a hint: think tigers.

ePub is a more developed form of OEB, but what I was meaning was that the EBW1150 converts the ebooks, it doesn't really read them directly... I think it would be better to have the same ebooks in one format regardless if they are on or off the device. This limits problems and allows you to retrieve your ebooks off the device in the event that your computer toasts or for transport. If this isn't making any sense to anyone else, sorry, I'm not sure it is making sense to me either. Mind you I really like the EBW and bought one for my son. It is just if they develop an eInk one that would be the one addition I'd like to see.. That and SD as opposed to SmartMedia.

Right now, I'm watching the Eurovision Song Contest.

Apologies to any German members here, but your entry just finished and it was dreadful.

Azerbaijan will win - you heard it here first!

Bilbo, no need to apologize. I watched it too and it was just embarrassing.
Germany: zero points, I'd say

No, you really, really don't want to watch Eurovision. The brief clips I watch generally make me cringe and sink into the sofa. The best bit is the voting as each country tends to vote for only its friends and not for the best song.

Jade's near the end (23 of 25 I think), so not yet.

I think I posted in one of the other threads here that if the US State Department ever need a snapshot of European national allegiances, they don't need to waste money infiltrating European governments, just watch the Eurovision voting.

Exactly! The voting is fun. I think Germany could send Tina Turner and we'd still get not a single point from Austria - and vice versa.

So very true.

I have just put BBC on, how is Graham Norton getting on? It won't be quite the same without Terry Wogan.

OK -just so you know what you're missing, I'll try to capture the last entry (Ukraine) for you:

The stage has 3 human sized hamster exercise wheels - in the centre one is a lady who has unfortunately forgotten to put her skirt on. In and on top of the other two are three very camp Roman legionnaires dressed in silver underpants and plumed helmets - the whole thing flanked by two 12 foot tall women in sparkly silver dresses.

Oh, and they're singing, although that's nearly incidental to the pageantry.

Now the skirtless lady is playing a drum kit whilst it's being pulled across the stage by the gay Roman guys.

Who wouldn't want to watch this!!
