Cannot update from koreader-kindlepw2-v2026.07.zip to koreader-kindlepw2-v2026.07.1..
Hi,
I use Koreader (koreader-kindlepw2-v2026.07.zip), I want update to v2026.07.1. I copied the .zip to the kindle root and checked the sha256 sum: Code:
$ sha256sum koreader-kindlepw2-v2026.07.1.zip ea1f575c54492a2c679d128b7f3210fd7d6a87e5f5a1ff1f7a7fe2080ff68f86 koreader-kindlepw2-v2026.07.1.zip - Tap on "KUAL" - Tap on "KOReader" - Tap on "Tools" - Tap on "Update KOReader" On the bottom is: "Updating to KOReader 2026.07.1..." a few moments later: "Failed to update to v2026.07.1  "How can I update koreader? Is this a known bug? I use this way many years before.

Try a manual update to make sure you are updating to the correct version.

Most probably related to the fact that update servers are currently down.
Try just downloading on PC and updating by copying and replacing files |

The Kindle is offline. I copied the latest full release from https://github.com/koreader/koreader/releases to the device according to: https://github.com/koreader/koreader...#manual-update
Like many times before. |

Try manually extracting the package and replacing files in the koreader folder (overwrite)
