Basic with ads £95, now £135

I figured that was also coming there and that it was likely a small delay before it matched other countries.

There is the Kobo Elipsa 2e at 10.3". I recently purchased one for my mother and read with it for a while. The front light uniformity isn't the best , but I enjoyed reading on it.

With the Jailbreak, it was the time for those needing a 7" BW to pick up a PW. It's obviously a less attractive option now with the price jump. The PW is now about the same price as an Onyx Book Page 7". I'd probably go for the Onyx, though the PW battery life is much better. Tough choice.

There are the Pocketbook ereaders. Far better choice for an ereader than a Kindle. A big risk to buy a Kindle just to JB. The reason to buy a Kindle is to read Amazon Kindle Exclusive titles (which should be illegal for anyone retailing to have exclusive creative content).

I sometimes read in bed with a 12.9" device. But then the keyboard also works as a stand. It's an iPad Pro with a Magic Keyboard.

I read with an Elipsa 2e in bed and it was quite nice. The remote would be ideal if it didn't drain the battery quickly.
